Call for Proposals – UNDP GEF Small Grants Programme

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), through the Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEF-SGP), invites Civil Society Organisations, Community-Based Organisations, Cooperatives, and Academic/Research Institutions in Namibia to submit proposals.

This programme supports community-led initiatives that strengthen Indigenous Peoples’ and Community Conserved Areas (ICCAs) through:
🌱 Biodiversity conservation & ecosystem restoration
🌱 Sustainable livelihoods linked to natural resource management
🌱 Documentation of traditional ecological knowledge
🌱 Inclusive governance involving women, youth, and local communities

📍 Priority Regions: Omaheke | Otjozondjupa | Erongo North | Kunene South | Hardap | Karas
💰 Grant Size: USD 50,000
Project Duration: Up to 24 months from grant allocation

📅 Deadline: 30 March 2026
