Call for Proposals 2026 – GEF Small Grants Programme (Ghana)

The Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEF-SGP), supported through GEF-8 core funding, is inviting Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Community-Based Groups in Ghana to submit proposals for innovative community-driven projects.
💰 Grant Amount: Up to US$30,000 per project
The programme supports innovative initiatives aligned with the following GEF Strategic Priority Areas:
🌱 Community-based conservation of threatened ecosystems and species
🌾 Sustainable agriculture, fisheries, and food security
⚡ Low-carbon energy access and climate co-benefits
♻️ Local-to-global coalitions addressing chemicals and waste management
🏙 Sustainable urban solutions through collaboration between CSOs, government, and the private sector
